Self-directed training with AHA certification
High-Quality CPR Improvement
High-Quality CPR
Self-directed training on smart electronic manikins inside the hospital: participants practice on a simulation station that measures compression depth, rate and ventilation in real time, guided by instant feedback until they master the skill, and receive an American Heart Association eCard at the end.
How It Works
- 01Self-directed training at the participant’s convenience, with no classroom or instructor present
- 02A mobile simulation station with adult and infant manikins and a tablet, moved between units
- 03Smart electronic manikins measuring compression depth, rate, recoil and ventilation
- 04Real-time audio and visual feedback during performance
- 05Short, frequent sessions that keep skills from decaying
- 06Meeting defined performance standards before completion
- 07An AHA eCard at the end, such as BLS, ACLS and PALS
- 08Performance reports by practitioner, unit and facility
Outcomes
✓Documented CPR mastery for every practitioner
✓Training without time away from work or backfill costs
✓An AHA card for every participant, and readiness data for surveyors
